The EPLS / PALS Provider certificate is valid for four years.*
 
There are two ways to recertify as a EPLS Provider:

        Successfully undertake a full EPLS Provider Course
        Successfully complete the recertification scenario and MCQ
           (see regulation 11.2 of the EPLS course regulations)

* The exception is for certificates issued before 1 September 2006 -
   these are valid for 3 years.
