      General information

Introduction

The Generic Instructor Course is overseen by the Resuscitation Council (UK) and Advanced Life Support Group. Both organisations have a number of sponsoring Provider Courses that are approved to participate on the course.

Objective

The course is designed to train potential instructors how to teach the Provider Course.

Eligibility

Only those Providers who have successfully completed a Provider Course and were recommended by the faculty for instructor training are eligible for a place on the Instructor Course.

Places on the Generic Instructor Course administered by the Resuscitation Council (UK) cover ALS, EPLS and NLS.

If you are seeking a place for any of the other sponsoring courses, please contact the Advanced Life Support Group.

Please note that ATLS is not a sponsoring course. If you are seeking a place on an ATLS Instructor Course, you need to contact the Royal College of Surgeons.
