Judith Fisher

Judith Fisher is a recognised leader in the field of pre-hospital care and was Awarded the Peter Safar Award for Services to International Emergency and Disaster Medicine by the World Association for Disaster and Emergency medicine. She has wide of experience in international medical education focussed on the preparation of medical practitioners and the wider community to prevent, research, manage and recover from major incidents and disasters. As a Consultant in Emergency medicine and as Medical Director to two UK Ambulance Services and the British Red Cross, she helped pioneer the introduction of pre-hospital thrombolysis and had earlier lead initiatives to introduce public access CPR and early defibrillation, while founder Chair of the Resuscitation Council (UK).
