As the organisation that sets the guidelines for resuscitation practice, the Resuscitation Council (UK) is aiming to remove barriers to people performing CPR, and give evidence-based and consistent guidance to trainers so that a national standard can be achieved.

The Resuscitation Council (UK) values your opinion when setting quality standards for CPR/AED awareness and training in the community*. From April-May 2019, you shared your views on the proposed quality standards, using a short survey to measure results.

The consultation closed at 5pm on Friday 24 May and is currently being analysed.

*Please note, the standard only relates to CPR/AED training and practice in the community and does not specifically include paediatric resuscitation, anaphylaxis or choking.
