Frequently asked questions

Yes, we welcome applications from anyone to join the RC (UK).

Associate membership is free for all our RC (UK) course Instructors and costs £20 per year for non-Instructors. Full membership is £25 per year. We regret that discounts are no longer available for Full membership.

We have automatically set up your account; there’s no need to take any further action.

You’ll be able to see your membership status when you log into your LMS user profile page. To do so, log in and click on ‘home’, then ‘navigation’ and ‘my profile.’ Next, select ‘view profile.’  Under ‘Personal details’, there is a tab/heading called ‘Membership information’ and your membership details become visible by clicking on the small red arrow to expand the section.

If you’re an RC (UK) Instructor currently paying for Associate membership, your membership has automatically been switched to FREE membership and any direct debit in place has been cancelled.

Any Instructor who is currently a Full member will remain a Full member. We hope you value the additional benefits, such as the eligibility to vote at the AGM, the potential to serve on the Executive Committee, and discounted tickets for RC (UK) events that Full membership brings you but if you wish to downgrade or cancel your Full membership, please also contact: membership@resus.org.uk.

We accept payments by Direct Debit and also by credit/debit card. You may prefer using Direct Debit as it’s easier and quicker to use.

Yes, you can upgrade your Associate membership to Full membership at any time. Email us at membership@resus.org.uk or call us on 020 7388 4678 and we will be happy to help.

Full membership includes discounted entry to events, such as the Annual Conference and Annual Lecture, as well as admission to the Resuscitation Council (UK) Annual General Meeting. Please note that all events require registration prior to the event.

If you are a Full member, you can  request your discount code by emailing events@resus.org.uk prior to buying your tickets. You can then apply your discount code when selecting the ticket type on Eventbrite.

No, attendance at events is only available to the individual named on the membership.

To receive a discount on ERC membership you must be a current Full member. Please email us at membership@resus.org.uk and we will issue you with a discount code.

No, we don’t issue membership cards. You can view your membership details at any time by logging onto the LMS. Your membership number will also be displayed on the correspondence we send you.

No, a membership subscription does not entitle you to use the RC (UK) logo.
