Resuscitation Council (UK)

Research

Research
We are keen to promote research into all aspects of the science, practice and teaching of resuscitation techniques, and can provide financial support for research projects. We have an annual process for applications which generally starts in March of each year. All applicants are notified whether or not they have been shortlisted in August and those applications which are shortlisted are reviewed by a panel of experts. Successful applicants are informed about the final funding decision in December.

Research funds available in 2018

The annual process for applications for the award of research grants is now open. Applications may be made on the RC (UK) Research and Development Grant Application system.
The closing date for submissions is Thursday 31 May 2018 at 17:00. Please note applications will not be accepted after this date.

The award of Research and Development grants is open to individuals working in the NHS or a university department within the United Kingdom. The researcher should have a credible track record of conducting such research projects or be working under appropriate supervision. Grants are designed to support the generation of new knowledge in resuscitation science and education.

All applicants will be notified whether or not they have been shortlisted by August 2018. Successful shortlisted applicants will be informed about the final funding decision in early December 2018 .
