Consensus Paper on out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in England: This paper helps explain the analysis of data on the incidence and survival rates of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) in England.

Requirements for resuscitation training: Resuscitation Council UK and the British Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation have released a joint statement.

Resuscitation on the Field of Play: Best practice guidelines aim to improve the response to a sudden cardiac arrest on the field-of-play and increase the chances of a full recovery. The guidelines are designed for medical teams who need to respond to an athlete having a cardiac arrest during or shortly after sporting activity, across all community and professional sports.

Resources

Learn how to deliver effective, confidence-inspiring and inclusive teaching of CPR skills to others. The course is aimed at those who are already trained in Basic Life Support (e.g., First Aid Instructors, First Aiders, Emergency Services etc) who would like to train others to learn BLS. The course is open to new, existing and experienced BLS trainers.
