RCUK's Resuscitation Practitioners Forum
The forum's mission is to strengthen the relationship and communication between RCUK and Resuscitation Practitioners (RP) across the UK. Through this collaborative network, we aim to utilise the unique skills, abilities and perspectives of the RP community to achieve our shared commitment to improve survival from cardiac arrest both in and out-of-hospital.
Through the facilitation of a network of RPs across the UK, RCUK aims to:
- strengthen communication and engagement between RCUK and RPs
- offer further support to one of RCUK’s key stakeholder groups
- foster an environment that facilitates the sharing of ideas for innovation and development of resuscitation practice, education, and research
- gain insight and support from the RP community for appropriate RCUK project planning and delivery
RCUK’s Resuscitation Practitioners Forum (RPF) is composed of representatives from all four nations of the UK, with three representatives from each nation’s resuscitation forum invited to participate. The inaugural RCUK RPF meeting took place in November 2024.
If anybody in England isn't part of a collaborative group of resuscitation practitioners and wants to be, please email englandresus@gmail.com. For those outside of England, please contact rpf@resus.org.uk.
If you would like to raise a question or agenda point for discussion at the next RCUK RPF meeting, please contact your nation’s resuscitation forum.
