Resuscitation Council UK’s core mission is to ensure that everyone who has a cardiac arrest has access to appropriate cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
We'll achieve this by ensuring that:
- comprehensive training is delivered across clinical, care and public settings, based on research and evidence
- cardiac arrest survival matches world-leading comparators
- everyone affected by cardiac arrest receives appropriate, personalised support
- we tackle inequalities in resuscitation.
We believe these goals are best delivered through the formula of survival: research, education and implementation, supported by public awareness and policy change.
This will enable:
• the best possible outcomes for patients
• the best possible outcomes for those affected by cardiac arrest
• meaningful progress in addressing inequalities.
