Funding call for COVID-19 related resuscitation research

Resuscitation Council UK is firmly committed to supporting cutting-edge research and, in an additional call for applications, is now seeking to fund specific COVID-19 related research that will further understanding of the effect of the pandemic on our resuscitation community.

Whether your COVID-19 research proposal is on basic science, practice-based research evaluation or attitudinal insights, we are interested in receiving your application.

We are encouraging applications from any individuals working in the NHS or a social care organisation, a university department, professional organisation or charity who have robust and well-designed study proposals that will further understanding of COVID and resuscitation. Applicants should have a credible track record of conducting such research projects or be working under appropriate supervision.

It’s important to us that the researchers we fund reflect our diverse resuscitation community, and we both welcome and encourage applications from underrepresented groups.

The COVID-19 research fund is now open to applicants. Applications must be submitted online by 17:00 on Wednesday 6 January 2021.

Applications received after this date will not be accepted.

For full details and criteria please refer to the Guidance notes when completing your form. All applications are reviewed following a robust research evaluation process.

We expect to inform applicants of the outcome by the end of March 2021. For general research enquiries please email: research@resus.org.uk
