Donations

Our mission is to save lives by increasing education and awareness in resuscitation, both for healthcare professionals and the general public. By donating, you’re helping us achieve that goal.

How we use your donations

We use donations to help us fund projects that will make a change. One of those projects is Lifesaver, our free, interactive live-action film that puts you at the heart of the action. Another is our free child and baby CPR book, Aaron's Heart, which teaches you the skills to save a child's life. Donations also help us provide crucial Research and Development Grants for healthcare professionals and our Community Grant Scheme which is available for small charities and community groups to help educate people about CPR and how to use a defib.

Case Study: Michelle - "A cardiac arrest can even happen to a marathon runner"

Michelle was at the end of a relay marathon event when she suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. Despite training for several months and having taken part in a number running events previously, she completed the 9 mile section of the run, crossed the line and...collapsed.

Case Study: Amirah - "Doing something is better than doing nothing at all"

Amirah noticed that a young man had fallen off his bike and had sustained significant trauma to his head and body. Whilst the emergency services had already been contacted, it became apparent to Amirah that nobody had assessed Lee’s breathing or pulse. After checking for a pulse and assessing his breathing, she established Lee was in cardiac arrest.
