Meridian FC raises CPR awareness with community football event
Thanks to the support of Resuscitation Council UK’s Community Grant Scheme, Meridian Football Club has been able to organise a resuscitation awareness event - bringing vital lifesaving skills and community spirit together.

Rich - "When I saw the GoodSAM notification, I knew someone needed my help"
One morning, BBC News presenter Rich Preston was at home when his phone cut through his “Do Not Disturb” setting and sounded a loud alarm. It was an emergency alert from the GoodSAM app, telling him that one of his neighbours was having a cardiac arrest.

Morgan - "You never think this could happen to you, especially at a young age"
Morgan MacRae, a 23-year-old Rams Rugby player, made a return to the field just months after experiencing a cardiac arrest. The incident, which occurred in August 2023, while MacRae was at home, came without warning.

Noah Swales was just three days old when he died from bacterial meningitis on 21 May 2017, despite having shown none of the usual symptoms.
