About ROC-UK

ROC-UK is led on a day-to-day basis by its Director, Professor Keith Couper, who is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the Consortium.

Our delivery and long-term strategy are shaped by an Operational Delivery Group and a Strategic Advisory Group. These groups bring together a diverse range of experts, clinicians, researchers and stakeholders from across the UK cardiac arrest and research community, ensuring that ROC-UK's work is informed by a breadth of knowledge and experience.

Keith Couper - Director of ROC-UK

Keith is a Professor in Emergency and Critical Care, based in the Emergency, Prehospital, Perioperative and Critical Care (EPPiC) research group at Warwick Clinical Trials Unit at Warwick Clinical Trials Unit. Until recently, he was also a critical care outreach nurse. His research focuses on the patient journey of critically ill patients from the pre-hospital setting to post-discharge care. He has a particular interest cardiac arrest. Keith also holds volunteer roles with the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation and European Resuscitation Council. Keith is director of Resuscitation Outcomes Consortium-UK (ROC-UK).
